May. 17th, 2019 07:21 amI think I need to write a paper about how growing up in a country that normalizes christianity as the only "real" religion and religion as the only valid way to be spiritual is deeply harmful to individual ethical development and the ability to form a spiritual identity. Atheism and agnosticism are totally valid identities to hold, but honestly I meet a lot of DEEPLY spiritual people who live a lot of confusion and shame and have no way to express that portion of themselves because they've been overpowered by American christianity and they know for sure that's not how they believe. Healthy relationships with the mysterious 2k19.
